Orlean Harbinson

Hi my name is Orlean Harbinson, I have been working with young people and children for twenty five years. I started as a teacher in Newcastle in 1990. Moved to Edinburgh where I lived for 13 years. I went on to qualify to be a Youth and Community worker, working in some of the most deprived area's of the city. I returned to Newcastle in 2003 where I continued my work with homeless young people and teenage parents. I recently completed a Masters in Social Work in 2013 researching child protection within domestic abuse. I went on to work for both local and national children's charities and am currently working for Barnardos as a senior practitioner. My passion is music and I love going to see live bands. I have a bearded dragon called Bosley and two delightful children.
