An admirer of Little Big Butterfly since its inception, I’m now thrilled to be part of the team. Fortunate to enjoy a diverse education and careers taking me around the world, I’m happiest in the North East involved in communities and meeting inspiring people. I’m motivated by helping others achieve their aspirations. I aim to support LBB by drawing upon experiences in managerial, lecturing and commercial roles in education, media and business environments.
As an International Development Officer, I promote educational opportunities with the aim of recruiting individuals to study in the UK who return to their countries with expertise to enhance their own lives & societies. I predominantly travel to the Middle East, CIS and Far East.
With a love of ‘all things media’, I’ve been involved in BBC TV and Radio, community film and fundraising. In my first degree, BA (Hons) Media and Business Management, I specialised in Video Production and my MBA dissertation focused on the media landscape. People, current affairs, music, film, the cello and football (esp. playing) occupy me. A co-founder of NUDSA (Newcastle United Disabled Supporters Association), I treasure my NUFC Season Ticket.
