Since January 2014 Local Authorities across the region have been working with Headliners and Little Big Butterfly to make powerful short films exploring Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Reforms. Young People have been integral to the films, becoming the crew and artistic directors in the final cut. Little Big Butterfly have made the films for the following councils; Sunderland City Council, Newcastle City Council, Northumberland County Council, Stockton on Tees Borough Council, Hartlepool and North Tyneside Councils. The films form part of detailed analysis commissioned by the Department of Education.
